at the beginning of 2005 (Liverpool) we
have now produced a network of DNA Clinics
throughout the UK. These professional & friendly
DNA Clinics combine essential face to face
consultations & support, with the most
accurate DNA tests available. |

samples taken at the DNA Clinics are processed
in our state of the art laboratories by
highly qualified scientists. |
DNA
CLINIC CONSULTATIONS |
| The
price of a DNA test at your local DNA Clinic
is £239. As well as the DNA test itself,
this price also entitles you to an initial
consultation & optional result session
at the DNA Clinic you attend. (Each session
lasts up to half an hour) |
| INITIAL
CONSULTATION |
Your
local DNA Clinic will provide a free initial
consultation with a qualified Case Manager
who will tailor the testing process to meet
your individual needs & preferences.
Your Case Manager will take mouth swabs/DNA
samples from all DNA test participants & check
all documentation for you. You will be given
the opportunity to ask questions & receive
impartial advice.
You will be asked for
a password which will be assigned to your
case. |
| RESULT
SESSION |
The
DNA Clinic will
provide a free results
session with
the Case Manager
involved in
your case.
They will show
you the DNA
test result
at The DNA
Clinic and explain its meaning. You will
then have the opportunity to ask questions,
receive impartial advice or simply talk
to someone about your situation. Please
note: You can choose how you initially
receive your DNA test result.

SEPARATE CLINIC SESSIONS
Separate clinic
appointments
can be made for test participants. These
can be held at the same DNA Clinic or a
separate DNA Clinic location. An additional
fee will apply.

THE
LABORATORY |
| The
DNA Clinic laboratories are ISO accredited
and utilize the latest in DNA technology
and genomic amplification. This means we
can supply you with the answers you need & trust,
quickly. |
| We
analyse 16 genetic locations including the
core codis loci (the gold standard for human
identification) for every DNA test carried
out and every DNA test
is run twice. Therefore,
for every DNA test carried out, we can guarantee
the highest accuracy, ensuring that conclusive
answers are provided for every DNA test.
The procedures and reagents used in the
laboratories are validated by the Forensic
Science Service (FSS). |
