Viability DNA Test For Forensic Samples

A Viability DNA Test will analyse a forensic sample to establish whether it contains enough DNA to obtain a full DNA profile.

This is not necessary for coroner or hospital samples.

The Viability Test is carried out before the chosen DNA test is performed.

It saves time & money that would otherwise be lost when a forensic sample being used in a DNA test is found to be insufficient.
