Home Self Collection Kits
You can order
a Home DNA Testing Kit on-line or you can contact a
Clinical Advisor to order a Home Self Collection Kit by
calling 0800 032 5945.
Please note that Home Self Collection Kits cannot be used if
the DNA test result is required for legal purposes.
The Process:
Upon request a Home Self Collection Kit will be sent to the address specified. Separate kits can be sent to multiple addresses if required.
The Home DNA Collection Kit will contain:
- Test booking forms
- Instructions for taking a mouth swab
- Mouth swabs
- Individual sample envelopes
- Return addressed envelope
Simply follow the instructions for taking the participants mouth swab & fill out the personal information requested on the sample envelope. You will be asked for a password on the test booking form. This will be assigned to your case and will be asked for in any telephone correspondence.
You will be required to sign a legal declaration on the test booking form. This declaration concerns aspects of consent, test limitations and our terms and conditions. The information it refers to can be viewed under the ‘Documentation’ tab of this website.
Once completed, return everything in the addressed envelope provided.
Payment: Simply include your payment with the kit when you return it. Please note that a small deposit may be required when the kit(s) is despatched.
Your DNA test result will be available within 5-7 days of the DNA Sample Collection Kit arriving at the laboratory.
